Make it stand out.

Looking for a way to make this trip even more magical? Consider booking this special room with a loved one. Casa Lyobaa’s owners describe The Candelabro Suite as “a private adobe cottage that faces a small seasonal river. It features a large bedroom with king bed and desk, small living area, private patio, and an interior staircase to a rooftop terrace with panoramic views. The exterior adobe bricks were made by a third-generation adobe master in nearby Xaaga, famed for its adobe makers. The interior walls are finished with a mixture of fermented cactus juice (baba de nopal) and cal—the same ancient recipe used in the interiors of churches like Santo Domingo in Oaxaca City. The floors feature local “cantera rosa” stone that we hand-selected at a small community quarry nearby. The interior pine and red cedar were sustainably harvested in the nearby Sierra Norte mountains. The room features art from some of our favorite local printmakers, handwoven and naturally-dyed rugs from one of our favorite weavers, and other surprises throughout.”

This is a double-occupancy room.
